Yoga Teacher Training
Becoming a yoga teacher requires a combination of personal practice, formal training, and teaching experience. Here are the steps that we teach you how to become a yoga teacher:
Develop a personal practice: Start by practicing yoga regularly and developing a strong personal practice. This will help you deepen your understanding of yoga and prepare you for the rigors of teaching.
Choose a yoga style: There are many different styles of yoga, so it's important to choose one that resonates with you and matches your goals. Some popular styles include Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Kundalini.
Complete a Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program. These programs typically last 200-500 hours and cover topics such as anatomy, physiology, philosophy, teaching methodology, and ethics.
Gain teaching experience: Once you have completed your YTT program, it's important to gain teaching experience. You can start by teaching friends and family, volunteering at community centers, or offering free classes to gain experience.
